A listening prayer ministry dependent on the leadership of the Holy Spirit while seeking Jesus to speak truth and to bring healing.

Soul Healing is an approach to prayer designed specifically to listen to and seek the Lord for answers, wisdom, clarification, and healing. 

Soul Healing can be effective when anything, big or small, is preventing a continuing close relationship with God and others. Jesus wants to provide healing and release for the brokenhearted, the grief-stricken, and the despondent.

  • The Soul Healing in the City Leadership Team and the Soul Healing Prayer Team consists of members from several churches in the Kansas City Metro Area and various Christian denominations. The leadership team and all prayer session leaders have agreed on the following as our Statement of Faith and believe these core doctrines to be true:

    All Scripture is self-attesting, and being Truth, requires our unreserved submission in all areas of life. The Bible, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the supreme and final authority on all matters on which it speaks. On this sure foundation, we affirm these additional essentials of our faith.

    We believe in one God, the sovereign Creator of all things.

    Jesus Christ, the living Word, became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth.

    The Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior, dwelling in our hearts. He instructs and guides us into all truth and seals us for the day of redemption.

    Jesus Christ will come again to the earth personally, visibly, and bodily—to judge the living and the dead, and to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.

Are you feeling stress or anxiety due to a personal situation or the current state of the culture?  

Soul Healing conferences provide opportunities to hear speakers on topics that have to do with struggles many people face such as loneliness, shame, fear, anger, difficulties in relationships, and many others. 

Conferences include engaging worship, Biblical teaching, and times for Soul Healing prayer.

Each conference is unique with a different speaker and topic and is designed so at every conference you will hear teaching and encounter Jesus in ways that bring healing, restoration, and wholeness.

After each talk there will be time to share and pray with trained prayer team members or to pray alone.

There is no charge for the conference, but your registration is vital so we can contact you with any updates.

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances we are canceling the July 24 Soul Healing conference at Colonial Presbyterian Church, 9500 Wornall in Kansas City, MO. We hope the speaker will be able to address her topic at a conference in 2027.

Our next conference is October 9, 2026 at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church. The speaker will be Geony Rucker, founder of Value Unconditional. Registration will be open on our website in early September and announcements will be made and email invitations sent as usual.

SOUL HEALING INDIVIDUAL PRAYER SESSIONS
Sessions are confidential, and last 60-90 minutes. Together, we invite Jesus into your situation knowing that healing and freedom come as our hearts engage with Him and we hear His words of grace and truth.

Have you been feeling fearful, isolated, anxious, lonely? Do you struggle with unforgiveness, painful memories, unhealthy self-talk or shame? Our Soul Healing Prayer Team is trained and available to meet with you in person or virtually.
